A few simple measurements can help ensure your new furniture moves into your home with ease. Before delivery, measure key access points and compare them to the dimensions of your piece.

Doorways
- Measure the interior width and height of each doorway.
- Check how far the door opens and note any trim or hardware.
- Watch for architectural details that may reduce clearance.

Hallways
- Measure the width of hallways and any narrow passageways.
- Account for turns, corners, and low-hanging light fixtures.
- Note any wall projections or tight transitions.

Stairways
- Measure the width of the staircase, including handrails or posts.
- Measure ceiling height above the stairs.
- Confirm the item can fit on landings and around turns.

Elevators & Entry Turns
- Measure elevator interior height, width, and depth if applicable.
- Measure entry clearances at corners, vestibules, and tight turns.
- Plan for enough maneuvering space to pivot larger pieces.
