Biography
Rebekah Osborn is a builder of brands, teams, and timeless products. After earning a B.S. in Human Resource Management from Louisiana State University in 2001, she began her career in pharmaceutical sales before answering an entrepreneurial pull toward home furnishings. In 2005, she opened her first retail store, 505 Imports, quickly demonstrating skill in scaling operations, developing product assortments, and exploring a franchise model.
The following year, she co-founded Beyond Borders with her mother and creative partner, Sharlene Boyle, transitioning from painted Indonesian imports to a globally sourced, design-led collection defined by quality, comfort, and longevity. From the beginning, Rebekah approached furniture as both craft and system, traveling extensively across Indonesia, India, and China to develop supplier relationships and document processes that ensured consistent results.
When periodic visits and manuals weren’t enough to achieve her standards, she relocated her family to Indonesia for six years, working side by side with artisans and factory managers. In 2018, she launched Beyond Borders Exports, her own factory on Java, assembling a 100+ person team and building the processes, controls, and training programs necessary for dependable production at scale.
Rebekah’s operational expertise and leadership unlocked global growth. Beyond Borders expanded to showrooms in Bali and High Point, offering a mix of curvy classic and clean modern silhouettes. Global distribution followed—including early container programs into Australia—supported by rigorous quality control and consistent finishes. Throughout, her design ethos has remained steady: natural materials, thoughtful construction, and pieces that feel elevated yet livable.
In 2020, Rebekah partnered with Michael Carey to launch The RW Collective, a 200,000-sq-ft wholesale hub in Rockford, Alabama, where she serves as Chief Operating Officer. Rebekah’s leadership ensures smooth operations, strong teams, and exceptional partner service across logistics, inventory, and customer experience. The RW Collective’s High Point showroom has grown into a 24,000-sq-ft, year-round working gallery, hosting market events and serving as a hub for product development.
Continuing to bridge wholesale and retail, Rebekah co-founded Jes & Gray Living in 2022, extending the company’s DNA into approachable, cozy environments, and Threads Republic in 2024, adding premium textiles to the portfolio. She also oversaw the 2025 acquisition of a U.S. factory in Saltillo, Mississippi, strengthening domestic capacity and shortening lead times.
Rebekah inspires and develops employees while building systems that scale. She is equally at home reviewing joinery and finish schedules as she is refining SOPs, demand plans, and merchandising strategies. Her focus remains constant: thoughtful design, reliable quality, and service that helps partners grow.
